The famous Vera Bradley Outlet Sale starts WEDNESDAY! Are you ready for the journey to Ft Wayne , Indiana? Here are a few helpful hints , to help you stay comfortable, dry (yes dry!), and energetic!
Wear Comfortable Shoes
The show is in a large venue. Expect a lot of walking up and down isles and isles of floral print handbags and totes. Make sure shoes are comfortable and flat. Please no heels. Balance is important since more than likely you will be carrying (or dragging) a few large bags of purses (or more)
Carry a Cross Body Handbag
Free up those hands! They will be needed to rummage through thousands of handbags. Plus , you will be carrying large pink plastic bags, the size of garbage bag.
Bring Food and Water
It’s easy to get dehydrated . You will be walking around for a couple of hours, plus standing in long lines. And it gets hot inside with thousands of people in one room (large). Bring bottled water, and high energy snack bars. Beverages and food are available at concession stands inside the venue.
Dress for the Weather
You might have to stand in line. One year I stood in pouring cold rain (yes I’m a diehard Vera fan). Be prepared. Bring a raincoat,umbrella, warm clothing in case it is cold.
Leave the Kids at Home
It’s really not a place for young kids. It’s crowded and overwhelming for little ones. Plus there’s not much room for strollers, although they are allowed, if a child is in it
Registration
Make sure you are registered. IF you haven’t registered online, registration is available at the Outlet Sale. Entrance to the sale is allowed without registration. But… purchases require registation.
Bring ID
An ID card is required for purchase. Student ID or drivers liscense will do.
